Lenten Classes Are Coming. Lent begins in February and there will be several classes offered to enrich your Lenten Journey. Rev. Ann will teach a class on grace on Wednesdays at 1:00-2:30 pm, starting February 10th. Rev. Khan will lead a sermon reflection group on Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm, starting February 11th. The Lenten sermon series is called Gandhi's Seven Deadly Social Sins, so there will be much to talk about! Mark your calendar now!
January 20th – March 6th, Parenting Class. Attention all parents of children and teens! Another fantastic parenting class based on the Love & Logic curriculum will be taught on Wednesday nights, January 20th through March 6th from 5:30-7:30pm. Child care is provided upon request. Flyers with more info are available or call Christy Graham at 499-0325 to register. A slight fee will be collected to pay for the class.
Saturday, 20 February 2010. Be sure and mark you calendars for Saturday, 20 February at 9:30 am. The Nurture Committee will present the second in a series of programs designed to help reduce stress and improve the quality of your life, Brain Defender! More details coming.
NORTHERN CHURCHES CURRENT CARE FOOD PANTRY NEEDS. Spaghetti sauce, canned fruit, canned meats (chili, stew, Chunky soups, raviolis, etc.), peanut butter, tuna fish, canned vegetables, crackers (saltine, graham or Ritz), canned condensed soups, dried beans, and Jell-O.

NOTE: Starting Sunday, November 1st, the nursery will be available for your little ones by reservation only. As always, the nursery is open every Sunday from 8:45-12:00. However, for any childcare other than Sunday mornings, please call Lynn Miksche at 599-7250, extension 182 to make reservations.
